4bia (สี่แพร่ง)

I’ve just watched a long anticipate Thai horror movie named 4bia. The name of this horror movie is a pun for Phobia or fear but the Thai name translated to crossroad (4 way connections). The reason for the anticipation is that two of the sections are solo-works of two master mind behind my favorit horror movie of all time ‘Shutter’. Since horror is one of mind favorit movie gene, this is a movie that I am very exciting to see.

4bia is an anthology horror movie playing about different types of fear. The four sections loosely connected and does not seem to compete with each other but rather focusing on different things. The movie has been shown in Thailand and a few festival so far and it is very well appreciated. In Thailand the movie is a success drawing 80M baht. The movie was also award the third prize from Fantasia Movie Festival (One of the biggest movie festival in Horror, Thriller and Sci-Fi). So I do I think of it?

The movie is such very enjoyable to watch. It is not as scary as Shutter but it come with fully variety of emotion you may expect form horror movies. Highly recommended .
